It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Ted Maisonneuve of Fort St. John, BC on October 25, 2024 at the age of 92.

Ted, the 2nd eldest of 10, was born on October 6, 1932, in McLennan, AB to parents Honoré and Laura Maisonneuve. They moved to Dawson Creek, BC in 1963 where Mike and then Kathy completed their family. They raised their young family there until 1974 when they moved to Fort St. John, BC.

Ted became the Division Manager of the Swanson Lumber mill in 1971. He continued as General Manager when Canfor purchased Swanson Lumber in 1981. In 1993 he became Vice President of Alberta Operations and commuted between Fort St John and Grand Prairie. Ted retired in 1997.

A passionate hockey enthusiast, Ted loved his favorite team, the Habs, and considered himself part of the Canadiens Nation. He contributed to the sport as a coach, sharing his love and knowledge of hockey with many young athletes.
