Hamre's Funeral Home was a gift from God, people understanding that I needed to see my daughter before she was cremated. Kaylie and staff understood that as I could not get to her when she went down the embankment and that I had to get her kids out of the heat - seeing her was impossible. It took 15 days but we got to come see her. We had her "Celebration of Life' and we were proud that over 425+ people attended. THANK YOU for going above and beyond. Her family will be forever grateful.

A year ago was the worst day of my life. My sister and daughter both passed away within a day of each other. When tragedy hits a family this hard, there's no words of comfort that will take away the pain. Hamres Funeral Home helped our families through this horrible time. I just wanted to say thank you. And a very special thank you to the lady who answered a recent question I had. You made me realize in a gentle,caring way that I was not losing my mind, or going crazy, it was part of my grief. Thank you for that email. It meant more than you know.

Hamre's staff are wonderful people. Our mother lived in Ft St John and we are in Ontario. difficult at the best of times but made more so when facing funeral arrangements. From day one, Kaylie and Kim were beyond helpful and caring. We felt secure with them and after speaking to them over the phone I felt as at peace as you can be under these circumstances. We were grateful our Mom was being cared for in their home. I recall a day I was speaking to Kim on the phone and I expressed my fear at not knowing what would happen when my mom passed. She spent several minutes walking me through the steps that would take place and I hung up feeling better knowing she would be in the care of some very kind people.

The staff at Hamres’s Funeral Chapel are amazing. When my brother suddenly passed away I was distraught, and confused. I made a phone call to Hamres, when I hung up from that call I felt like I had a purpose and that I had found a comforting support to guide me through the next steps. Hamres handled everything even the smallest detail. They handled all the paper work to keepsakes, flowers to catering and found the perfect venue for my brothers celebration of life, which I found not only therapeutic for our family but for his many friends that needed a chance to say goodbye.
I can’t thank Hamres enough, their professionalism and compassion are the reason they are the very finest of businesses.
