I met Pete many years ago in Port Moody when we all worked for Dino's. He had a GTO back then that he was working on. Him & his brother Rick were working on it one day & they took the hood off & set it down to do something. One of them jumped in the car to move it & ran over the hood. Poor Pete was so upset!! RIP Pete!!

I have debated whether or not to post on this Memory Page. I did not know Pete personally but I did work at a financial institution that he dealt with. He was, by far, one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. Always seemed to be happy and smiling. News of his death shocked me. So, Pete, rest well.

Learning of Pete's passing came with shock and disbelief.Pete had called a few days before and In Pete's normal loud voice, the conversation always began with hey you Pousti what you up to, a short reply of hey Malaka. Then Pete's loud rour of laughter.Ending with a okay thanks, make sure you stop by for a visit next time you pass by.Pete was a patient giant man with a heart full of kindness. You would always find Pete outside in the garage working on a project during the summer months or sitting around the picnic table with a group of friends.I always knew when spring had arrived Pete began washing the driveway with the garden hose or the more serious occasions a pressure washer. As we cruised down 93 rd one of the kids would always say there's Pete.A quick honk of the horn would always bring on the wave and a big smile. You could always find a new car, truck , or motorcycle in the driveway where you would see Pete tinkering and polishing away.Pete always managed to turn a pigs ear into a silk purse, his grin would get bigger as he told the story of how he had just picked up his last treasure. The beer was always cold and his smile was always warm and welcoming.Going to miss that punch in the arm the loud roar of laughter and big smile.I still lay on the horn when I drive past hoping to see Pete in the driveway smiling and waving.Rest in Peace Pete.Your friends Sid Marla Belziuk & family
