I met Janet in my twenties when we were both working in France. She was one of a wondrous group of people brought together in a beautiful collision of kindred spirits. At a time when I was stumbling to find my way, she threw me a lifeline and opened my heart to love. It was a blissful carefree time full of warmth and laughter, the delicious memory of which I've always carried with me like a rare and precious jewel occasionally brought out to comfort and inspire. Rest in peace beloved Janet, forever in my heart.

How lucky we were to bump into Janet 23 years ago on our honeymoon in Guatemala. Only Janet could say "I'd prefer a cup of tea" when offered a spliff, and pass the pigs has never been funnier! We have lots of fond memories from our time with Janet, and treasure them dearly, particularly incidents involving alarm clocks. Our thoughts are with you at such a sad time Bruce. Other than myself and his father, Janet was my son's 1st advocate at school. She would go the extra mile to work with him and his creative thought process. She would always say, "I get it." I always felt like she was the only one that was really trying to understand why he was the way he was. I will always love her for that. Rest in Peace. You are a hero in my books.

My most sincerest condolences .. Janet was a truly awesome lady . I enjoyed many laughs with her and spent a lot of time working with her on PAC . She was a wonderful principle to both of my children and will surely be missed by all the children, we were lucky to have her . I am truly so very sad to hear of her passing . I loved working with Janet, both as a casual in the office at Central, and as a parent of a student of the school. I'm so sorry to hear that her fight with cancer is over. She did fight. I cried a few tears with her at the Relay for Life a few years back. It was a very emotional day for both of us. RIP Janet. Our whole family is feeling your loss today Mr. Haley.
