I knew Bretton. He was my surveyor's helper out of Fort St John. I have lots of good memories of him that I have cherished over the years. I saw his obituary today and was shocked to hear of his passing. I just wanted to share my condolences with his family.

It seems like such a short time ago when I visited the ranch as Bretton's Correspondence School teacher and went snowmobiling with the family! That day has remained a special memory all these years! I always loved hearing-reading about the adventures on the ranch that came in with the schoolwork! I have a memory of this tall slim boy coming into the school, acting a bit shy in that setting, but with his wonderful "Bretton smile." Cindy, Dixie, and families, I was so very sad to hear about Bretton's death. Rich and I both send our heartfelt condolences.
