My condolences to Laura on Fords passing. Ford was such a kind and humble soul. I have known Ford since I was a young child . He was a friend of my mothers and my first memory of him was being introduced in the cafe of the Fort Hotel when it was still a respectable establishment . Through the years I would bump into him and he would always remember me. He adopted one of our pups Timothy in the late 80s. It was always a pleasure to run into him and he never failed to ask of my family and my parents and express his love and pride for his daughter. My last memory of Ford was sharing a dance last Christmas. Even though he was using a walker to walk, he danced beautifully without it. Ford will be long remembered and missed.

Your Dad was an awesome man Laura, and he loved you dearly. I was flying with my cat a few days after September 11, 2001, and I was allowed my cat OR my carry on. Your dad was my seat mate, and he was so happy to give up his under seat space for my bag. He was such a gentle soul, and I am very sorry to hear of his passing.
