Uncle Len gave me a chance to start roughnecking on a drilling rig! He phoned me at 11pm and said the crew was looking for a hand and I needed to get out there tonight!! It was north of Peace River for a company called Spartan Drilling. I needed a lucky break and Uncle Len provided me with it!! That job gave me the confidence that I could tackle anything, plus it paid awesome!! Uncle Len played an important part in my life and I will always be grateful! My heart is once again saddened for the loss of an iconic part of our family!! All my love to Lee, Chris, Sheri, and the Eklund family!!
